One park name will be selected and awarded a prize.

The prize (to be announced)

A commemorative plaque will be erected in the park after the competition.  The plaque will be prepared and installed with the winning name, an explanation of the significance of the name, a reference to the Gréber report and the name of the competition winner. 


The erection and placement of the plaque will be done in conjunction with the City of Ottawa and will be required to meet all of the requirements of the City for commemorative plaques.
